The Bamburgh Room, overlooking the
hotel garden, offers magnificent moorland views
and a spectacularly eerie atmosphere to match.
Once the living quarters of Dorothy Foster, the room is
reputedly haunted. Her presence has been felt by many
as she roams the building waiting the return of her beloved
brother Tom.
Even today many years after her death she longs to find someone
who will carry a message to him. Read about the Ghost
of Dorothy Foster and the history of the Lord Crewe Arms (more...)
