The experience of a truly memorable meal in the Lord Crewe restaurant will linger long in your memory. Head Chef and Partner Ian Press and his staff will prepare the highest standard of cuisine with dedicated service. 

Our  restaurant is a superb early 18th Century room with open fires at either end, with candlelight and soft classical background music. It's large windows afford spectacular views  of the Durham High Fells and at night the cloisters gardens below are floodlit to provide a superb setting. The walls are decorated with oil paintings  and large mirrors, pride of place are two impressive ancient portraits of Lord Crewe and his wife Dorothy.

The chef will only be too happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements, any special menus can be discussed with the chef prior to dinning in the restaurant.

Restaurant Dinners - Daily 7pm-9pm

Our Restaurant is situated on the 1st floor and Bar Meals are served on the ground floor.  Unfortunately due to the Hotel's listing there is no lift for the Restaurant, but we are happy to serve the Restaurant Menu on the ground floor if requested.
